Middle East Mayhem

Here I thought when I started the blog I would be writing about things to set the record straight regarding BAD information in the media.  Here I find headlines that help explain what I think is coming in the future, the near future.  In looking at the news headlines from around the world this week, I saw the above two headlines.  I was startled at how similar they could look to future headlines I was already expecting:  “Psalm 83 war breaks out” and “Damascus nuked”.

Many people who talk about the bible talk about Armageddon and Jesus coming back and the Anti-Christ, among others.  But two events that need to happen before all of those takes place feels awfully close to This Guy in Hainesville.

I think that a major Regional war in the Mid-East that ends with Damascus being hit with a nuclear bomb are two of the next major events to happen in the Middle East.   The odds of this being right REALLY increase when/if the UN votes to divide Israel and create a Palestinian state.   That should be resolved one way or the other by the end of this month.  Time is short on this one.

If things start to heat up in the Middle East, think about this.  Something has to unfold to give Israel the ability to live in the land without walls and feel “safe”.  That is not here by a long shot.  The valley Gog is buried in is currently a part of Jordan.  However, Ezekiel says this valley is a part of Israel, so something has to occur before Ezekiel 38 & 39 (a bigger war with Israel) happens that gives Israel more land and the aforementioned false sense of security. Psalm 83 & Isaiah 17, to me, answers these questions perfectly.

The Psalm 83 war, as This Guy is calling it, is a war in the Middle East between Israel and 11 specifically identified people groups.  If this does happen soon, which I think it will because of this September 20th UN vote, then the majority of these people participating are terrorist groups, and not necessarily all nation states. I would say however that some nations will engage fully.  There is no doubt that Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Muslim Brotherhood will participate however.

Here is how the Bible ID’s the eleven combatants from thousands of years ago.
Psalm 83:1-8
1 Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O God! 2 For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; and those who hate You have lifted up their head. 3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted together against Your sheltered ones. 4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” 5 For they have consulted together with one consent; they form a confederacy against You: 6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites; 7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8 Assyria also has joined with them; they have helped the children of Lot.  Selah

Here is how A Guy in Hainesville Ids the combatants today, 2011, by simply looking around at the signs of the times.  I can’t help but say “WOW”.  Check this out.  If I didn’t know any better, I would say all this stuff from earlier in 2011 in Egypt and Jordan and elsewhere was setting some of this up right in front of our eyes.  Spoiler alert, they are the same as above.  C’mon that didn’t wreck it for ya, keep going.

Psalm 83 Coalition:
     1) Tents of Edom = [decedents of Esau] Palestinian Refugees and Southern Jordanians
Source: Wikipedia

I would say it is not a stretch to say the folks on the West Bank are part of this group that attacks Israel.  There have been many attacks launched from this space already.  This would include Hamas.  This pic is from wiki and is recent, accurate right down to the word tent.

2) Ishmaelites = Saudi Arabians

With regard to the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, Saudi Arabia believes it is "an Arab and Islamic duty" to support the Palestinian cause and it "has issued numerous statements condemning Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian people and against the holy sites".[1]

Saudi Arabia, while a member of the Arab League, won’t stand by during a large war.  If the Arab League can agree on one that, that is it is Anti-Israel.  It is also interesting that Egypt was suspended for 10 years from the Arab League for signing a peace treaty with Israel.

They may not join right away in the fighting.
Jeremiah 49:8
Turn and flee, hide in deep caves, you who live in Dedan, for I will bring disaster on Esau at the time I punish him.
This is a warning to the Saudis to disengage from their confederate allegiance with the Palestinians. They are instructed to flee from the slaughter and go back into the depths of Saudi Arabia. The historical location of “Dedan” was in Northwest Saudi Arabia. Ezekiel tells us that the Saudis do not heed Jeremiah’s warning.
Ezekiel 25:13
Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will stretch out my hand against Edom and kill its men and their animals. I will lay it waste, and from Teman to Dedan they will fall by the sword.
This reference to Dedan, Arabia offers a connection to the confederacy of Esau/Edom found in Psalm 83:4-8 and Obadiah 1:7. In Psalm 83:6, the Saudis are represented by their ancestor Ishmael and are labeled as the “Ishmaelites.” Esau is Edom, according to Genesis 36:1, much like his twin bother Jacob is also called Israel [Genesis 32:28]

3) Moab = Palestinian Refugees and Central Jordanians

This would include Hamas.

4)  Hagrites = Egyptians/Muslim Brotherhood

While national Egypt might not invade Israel, I can see the Muslim Brotherhood sending forces, Hamas maybe, in through the Sinai Peninsula, as they have in the past.  I mentioned earlier how it will be some terror groups and some nation states that come against Israel.

Amazing what has happened in Egypt since early this year to set the stage for this coming war.

5) Gebal = Northern Lebanese

This would include Hezbolla.

6) Ammon = Palestinian Refugees and Northern Jordanians
See above.  Yeah this Guy in Hainesville gets lazy sometimes.

7) Amalek = Arabs South of Israel/Gaza

Again, Hamas, PLO, and might include the Sinai.

8) Philista = Palestinian Refugees and Hamas of Gaza Strip

No problem there.  See map.

9) Inhabitants of Tyre = Hezbollah and Southern Lebanese

Again, no problem with Hezbollah more than willing to go after Israel.

10) Assyria = Syrians and perhaps Northern Iraqis included

Well we know these two are not love birds.  Pick 2 any two.

11) Children of Lot = Jordan

Joined the Arab League soon after it was independent of Britain in 1946.

C’mon, how many blogs today include fox AND aljazeera as sources of information?

Jordan’s government is under stress as the Muslim Brotherhood wants to destabilize the country for the coming war.  Expect to see more protests and Jordan might be the next government to fall in the Middle East.

OK so do we have 11-11?  I think so.  Amazing how this seems close to happening with September 20th approaching but I don’t see much talk about it.  I think we can know in ADVANCE who is gonna be in this war.  It might be soon, I hope not.

Now on to the 2nd possible headline, regarding Damascus.

This is not a fun one to talk about.  The bible predicts “Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap”.  In a day, Damascus, the oldest continually inhabited city in the world will be gone.

As this Psalm 83 war is happening in the Middle East, Israel might employ the Samson Option.   Perhaps either Syria launches a WMD attack on northern Israel, Isaiah 17:4-6, and Israel responds or Israel is hard-pressed as it is surrounded and launches a limited version of the Samson Option and throws a nuke at Damascus.  Either way, the city is destroyed and Israel claims the land of Syria.

Israel’s Borders Expand: The New Middle East
The Bible tells us that as a result of this military victory given to Israel from God via the Israeli Defense Force (IDF), the hand of His people, the face of the Middle East will drastically change. Israel will significantly increase in size.  The nations that form the Arab League fall, for the most part, within the scope of land from the covenant that God made with Abraham. At the end of this war, Israel’s borders will be reset to that of, or very close to, the borders that God established for Israel in is covenant with Abraham. Genesis 15:18.  God kept His promise to Abraham.

While Israel licks her wounds, the IDF will be very depleted, the world won’t be too happy that Israel is doing all this damage.  At this time the larger enemies will start to look to attack Israel.  The build up might soon start for the next, “Ezekiel’s”, war.  Israel and it’s armed forces will win the Psalm 83 war, but they won’t be able to win the next one.  God Himself will help out Israel with that one, but that’s for a future post.
I saw those headlines and was struck by how similar they look to future possible headlines.  I just wanted to share show how this early part of 2011 has almost literally set the stage and put the actors on their marks for a possible showdown this Fall.

The curtain might even go up on September 20th, 2011.
If that doesn’t sound like a recipe for Middle East Mayhem, that I don’t know what is.

Check out the Bible and honestly seek in your heart for answers.  You might be surprised what you get back.

It will probably be more than a blog post from…

First Post

Welcome to my blog (that was original).  I hope that my originality ramps up from here on out as you read about how I see the world.  This Guy in Hainesville’s views are certainly not going to be mainstream.  While the world, and the media, keep telling us we need to listen to the “experts”, I think, and hope, this “Guy in Hainesville” can be even more enlightening.  Let me know what you think.

With blogs springing up everywhere I felt compelled to join this chorus of voices.    I am not without my influences in the blogging realm however.  My goal is to make this blog a cross between John McTernans’ Insights and All Along the WatchTower.  And no that last site is not about  Dylan songs.

While those guys have specific topics they address, from spiritual to economic preparedness, I hope to touch not only on those things but also talk about issues ranging from pop culture, like U2’s music, to geo-politics and the global economy.  You might be thinking oh joy the global economy, that sounds like fun!  Well it is interesting how everything does seem to be inter-connected.

I will also dive into the media and their impact on society.  And last, but not least, I will discuss religion and Christianity.   This blog will be successful if after reading here you come away knowing those two words are not redundant.

I see the gap between events in the material world and the spiritual world narrowing day by day.  They affect each other.  As you read on, you will see how.  I can’t see one issue without a successful cross-reference with the other.  Feel free to ask me about a subject and I will do my best to tell you how I see it.

I welcome you on this journey of discovery.  Please join me in talking about these issues.  This blog is not just me talking to the ether, it is, hopefully, you talking back too.  I would love to hear what you have to say because I am no certainly no expert but simply …
